About Us

A non for profit Community Interest Company set up to build and place bee hives across the UK in the wild to help restore and grow the numbers of bees.

A little about me, I started keeping bees at the age of 37 and now I near 40 I have a much better understanding of just how important these amazing creatures are and how much we need them.

As a beekeeper we are always looking to prevent our bees from swarming or leaving the hive, but this is what bees do naturally to reproduce.

The swarm when it leaves the hive has just a 10-15% chance of survival, this is due to many factors including lack of hedgerows and natural places for them to make home.

So I decided I needed to improve those numbers and give the bees a better chance of survival so Wild B Hives was born

Our Aim

The aim is, with your generous donation to build and place our in house made bee hives in locations across the UK to include country parks, stately home gardens, museums, schools and other natural places outdoors

Already knowing where beekeepers are located will give a great starting point to placing the hives and we will work outwards from locations we know bees are already being kept.
